I figured anyone reading this would be getting bored with pictures of my grandsons and reading about how great they are, so I decided to photograph my day.....didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted it to, but it's a start...

Okay, here's my day:

Wake up and get outta bed -- ugh!!Make the bed -- now that looks better! I always feel good when I get the bed made....like there's order in the world after all...Into the bathroom to take meds and get clothes outta the closet and on my bod before I freeze to death -- our bedroom is the coldest room in the house!Out into the office....turn on the radio and my computer to get my day started...the radio wakes me up and I have to check my email and facebook....no one reads this blog or leaves comments, so I rarely check it...Gotta get the laundry started so I can get it on the line early -- in the winter it takes all day for it to dry....well, not these sheets, but most everything else...

Into the pantry to get my tea and cereal for breakfast...today it will be Kroger brand tea and Special K Red Berries...yummy! (Look how neat my pantry is....a little neatfreak....)

Making breakfast -- tea is ready; time to pour the cereal into a bowl and put milk on it -- those red berries have to soak a bit to become soft and strawberry-like...

Breakfast -- all set with my vitamins and daily newspaper -- I just can't give up my paper....I get too much enjoyment out of sitting with a hot cup of tea and reading the news of the day (or, more accurately, yesterday)...

...okay, time to run out and get the sheets on the line -- look how pretty!...run back in, fold the towels and put them away...run, run, run!

Time to do the dishes that the dishwasher won't get clean...I'm so particular...

Now I have to get dressed to go out...

Bye-bye!

Back home -- oh, the mail is here...

Emptying the recycle and putting the bin at the curb for pickup tomorrow...

Lunch time at last ... leftover cornbread and ham -- yummy!

Now to relax, eat lunch, and watch a recorded show...first time I've sat down since breakfast hours ago...
Phone call from my honey on his lunch hour ... you can see Jake on my phone!

Back to work -- putting away Christmas stuff...it may never get put away at this rate...

This is a chore I will get back to again and again throughout the day...

My teddy bears are so cute....

Oh, no, I let a candle burn too long on New Year's Eve....gotta find out how to get it off the carpet!

Time to make dinner -- pork chops, corn and angel hair pasta....mmmmmm!

Grilling the pork loin chops...

Ready to eat!

After cleaning up dinner, I get to sit in front of the TV with my honey and relax.....hope you had a great day, too!!

2010 finds me enjoying my grandsons once again in the fascinating jungle of our back and side yards....there is so much for the short stuffs to explore, and they find the most interesting things...Jake found a "dinosaur bone" on the "mountain" -- can you see it in any of the pictures?? (Hint: it's sticking out of the mountain.)

Both boys climbing the "mountain", but Scot had trouble...
...Scot had to find another route up the "mountain"...

They both made it to the top -- yea!!

Jake tries the slide that Scot found...

At the bottom of the slide, Scot is in boy heaven!

Scot finds another slide...
Children bring so much joy to life -- they are happy most of the time and spread their cheer to everyone around them....oh, that I'm always around children...

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...

A relaxing evening at home, just the two of us...oh, and the ghosts...who seemed to have set the mantle on fire....

Pretty Puffy Clouds

So, do I take the big risk and hang out my laundry, not knowing if these clouds mean rain or just beauty? I'm going for it!

Fall Comes to Tempe & Vinedo Lane

Fall on Mill Avenue -- the suburban version of Mill Avenue...not the ASU version...we're a little later than the rest of the country in getting fall, and all of our trees don't turn, but we do get some beautiful color...

And, fall has arrived on our little Vinedo Lane....such pretty colors in our own front yard...
